What Are the Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification and Exam Requirements?
- Complete at least 16 hours (2 days) of live instruction delivered in person or online by a Certified Scrum Trainer® (CST®).
- Accept the Scrum Alliance License Agreement after successfully completing the course to gain access to the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) assessment.
- Pass the CSM® assessment, a 50-question online exam, by scoring 37 or more correct answers within the 60-minute time limit.
- Maintain your CSM® certification by earning and reporting the required Scrum Education Units® (SEUs®) to Scrum Alliance.
- Renew your CSM® certification every two years by paying the Scrum Alliance renewal fee and submitting the required number of SEUs® during each renewal cycle
